Five J's Inc. is a locally owned and operated company founded by Jeff (Sonny) Ates, III who has over 30 years of experience in the land management industry. This experience has enabled him to put together and offer the finest array of earth material available on the market today. Formally a private pit, these 25-acres are now open to the public.

This pit is located off of Highway 90 in East Milton, just east of Highway 87 South and Highway 90 intersection. Also, it is 3.5 miles north of I-10 off exit 10, 18 miles east of Pensacola, 27 miles west of Crestview and 22 miles north of Navarre. This makes it centrally located between 3 of the fastest growing areas in Northwest Florida.

Our materials include: Chalk, Road, Clay, Sand, Builder’s Fill, Brown Fill, and Top Soil.

The Chalk has passed a permeable test of seven to the minus three ( 7   ),  making it a great pond liner or capping material.
