The Clay is rich enough to be used as a subbase stabilizer for those who choose to use a belly mixer.  12 inches of stability has been obtained with as little as 4 inches of blend with this clay thus realizing significant savings.  We can also blend this clay with sand to meet road base requirements or any other specs as needed.

This is the layer of soil between the topsoil and clay layers.  It promotes good growth as well as having stability and has been used in the construction of viaducts and roads along sensitive wetland locations.
